We took pole at the Opening race of the season in Ligue Hauts de France. While this race does not count towards the Championship it was an important indicator for us for the season start. Unfortunately we could not finish it off with a podium. While starting at the front in heat 1, Tom Damez quickly caught up – and having more track experience it proved difficult to fight for P1. We finished heat 1 in P2. The finals took a different turn when Tom Damez spun after touching the front runner. Lukas could not avoid him being in his slip stream and as such the two had to catch up with the pack. We ultimately finished P4 and P2 in the U10 category.

Great learning opportunity, better results than we originally expected. But what is more important is that it proves our progress over winter. We’re ready for the season to start! Thanks to our sponsors Joris Buyse, FiftyFive and Ripl for the support.
