P3 in mini rookie! What a result! On Friday we arrived at Mariembourg for our first race in GK4 this season. Straight from Austria, no training at all. From skiing on the slopes to racing in his first high level event this season. Qualifying did not went as expected as we struggled with finding the right configuration for the engine. Back to basics it was and with that setup we got ready for a masterclass in catching up with the front runners. Lot of fun during overtakes and as a result Lukas enjoyed it beyond all others races ever done.

We took P8 in heat 1 climbing up 8 places and went up to P4 in heat 2 – but due to penalty we dropped back to P10. In the finals we fought hard to get to the front and managed to drive to P4. Ultimately, due to a penalty for one of the front runners, we finished P3. Well deserved given he also set the 2nd fastest time during the race.
