Dispite being qualified for the French National Championship amongst the 72 best drivers in the French competition we have decided to remain focussed on our original goals and continue our participation in GK4 and IAME Series Benelux.
Lukas was leading the French regional championship in Hauts de France given his win at Ostricourt and second place at Abbeville. However, a double DNF in the race in Anneville dropped us to the 4th place. As 7 places for the National championship were awared to the Mini 60 categorie in Ligue Hauts de France it meant we were selected amongst the 72 best drivers in France to participate.
When we put our calendar together in the month of January for this year we could only hope to achieve the results we are seeing today. Considering that we will focus on more Benelux and European participation in the future it seemed more logic to stick to our original plan and focus. This means we will continue to fight for the top 5 in both GK4 and Iame Benelux Mini Rookie categories over the next months working towards our future in Mini.
We would like to thank our team CRG Belgium and our sponsors Joris Buyse, LAMAC Machinery and FiftyFive for the continued support and understanding our decision to focus on the future. We also would like to congratulate and show our support to our fellow competitors who are selected and will participate.
