What started with doubts on Friday after difficulties in training turned out in yet another podium at the end of the weekend.

On Friday we made a mistake in training 1, broke the bolt on the brakes in training 2 and never found the pace in training 3 & 4. Back to the drawing board and with the help of our team we got the kart and engine in the right spot to deliver.

On Saturday we took pole in quali with 3 CRG drivers in the top 3! In tricky conditions we chose for a dry setup with minimal tweaks – it paid off with a margin of 0.4s on P2 and almost 1.5 seconds on P4!

In heat 1 we waited too long to overtake and others started to catch up, we finished in P3. Heat 2 we opened the door in the first lap and received a penalty for false start on top, P6. Videos from spectators showed different things but race direction did not want to revise nor show us their video… In the end we decided to focus on the result on track.

But we would come back in the final, and how! It was a true marvel of racing between Bruce Chirino, Milan De Ruit and Lukas. Nothing short of high level racing. In the last lap Lukas took both by a surprise (and risky) move at marshal post 3, at high speed towards the technical part of the track. A part where he excels. Heading towards the final turn before the straight he posted a defensive manoeuvre. Towards the finish line with 3, and unfortunately we lacked just a bit of pace… P3 at 0.08 from the lead. Nothing short of a thriller. Fantastic racing, crazy manoeuvres, top drivers.
