Final race in IAME Series Benelux: another podium spot

The final round of the IAME Series Benelux at Mariembourg turned into a real test of adaptability. Wet conditions, unpredictable grip levels and intense competition made it one of the toughest weekends of the year — but Lukas once again showed what he could do.

The weekend started with a masterclass in the wet, setting lap times in warm-up that were almost a full second faster than anyone else. Unfortunately, the pace didn’t fully carry over into qualifying — Lukas struggled to find the same rhythm in mixed conditions, ending the session in P5.

In the heats, consistency became the key. Despite the challenging grip levels, Lukas delivered solid top-five finishes in both races (P5 + P5), keeping himself in contention for a strong result in the final. With focus, he fought his way onto the podium once again — P3 in the final!

That result marks three consecutive podiums in as many back-to-back race weekends and four podiums in the last four races — a testament to Lukas’ skills and his ability to deliver under pressure.

He closes the championship in P6 overall, an impressive outcome in his first truely competitive season of karting and with only 2 years of experience in a kart. Looking back, the early-season learning curve and small mistakes were part of the journey — the price of progress in a competitive field. But through dedication, teamwork, and relentless drive, we have shown that we belong at the front.
